Refund & Cancellation Policy
Company: Neighbors & Lights LLC
1. Cancellations by Client
- Cancellations must be requested in writing (text or email is acceptable) and confirmed by Company.
- If Client cancels at least 72 hours before the scheduled installation time, the deposit remains non-refundable but no additional payment is required.
- If Client cancels within 72 hours of the scheduled installation, Client may be responsible for a portion of the remaining balance to cover crew time and lost scheduling opportunity.
2. Cancellations by Company
Company may cancel or postpone installations due to safety concerns, severe weather, or unforeseen operational issues. In such cases:
- Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule at a mutually agreeable time.
- If Company cancels and cannot provide Services for the season, deposits paid for that project will be refunded.
3. Weather Delays & Conditions
Weather delays (including rain, snow, ice, or high winds) may require rescheduling and are not grounds for a refund of deposits.
We will work to complete your installation as soon as it is safe and practical.
4. Refunds After Installation
- Once installation is complete, no refunds are provided for Services rendered.
- If there is a workmanship issue or product failure with Company-supplied materials, our No-Charge Repair / Workmanship Guarantee applies instead of a refund.
5. No-Charge Repair / Workmanship Guarantee
If lights or décor supplied and installed by Company fail under normal use during the season:
- Company will repair or replace the affected section at no additional labor charge within a reasonable timeframe.
- This does not apply to Client-supplied products or damage caused by Client, third parties, or extreme weather.
6. Chargebacks
Client agrees not to initiate payment chargebacks for Services received. Any disputed amounts must be addressed directly with Company.
Inappropriate chargebacks may result in Client being responsible for collection costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees.
