1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, requesting a quote, booking services, or otherwise engaging with Neighbors & Lights LLC
(“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.

2. Services

We provide Christmas lights installation, exterior lighting, seasonal décor installation, removal of installed décor,
and related home and property exterior services (collectively, the “Services”).

3. Quotes, Pricing & Invoices

  • All pricing provided in quotes or invoices is based on the information you provide and a visual assessment (in-person or via photos).
  • Pricing may be adjusted if actual conditions differ from what was represented (roof pitch, height, obstacles, unsafe areas, additional materials, etc.).
  • Any changes affecting price will be communicated to you before work is performed whenever reasonably possible.

4. Deposits & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your installation date and materials. Details are set out in our Deposit Agreement.
  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due upon completion of installation.
  • We may suspend or refuse service if payment terms are not met.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe access to the installation areas (including driveways, walkways, and yard).
  • Ensure that exterior electrical outlets are functional, accessible, and capable of handling the load.
  • Keep pets, children, and vehicles clear of work areas while installers are on-site.
  • Inform us of any known hazards: loose shingles, weak decking, fragile gutters, ice, unstable surfaces, etc.
  • Remove or clearly mark obstacles such as wires, decorations, and landscaping features that may present trip or fall hazards.

6. Property Condition & Damage Disclaimer

Our installers take care to avoid damage; however, exterior holiday lighting inherently involves attaching clips, hooks,
fasteners, and running cords along roofs, gutters, siding, and landscaping.

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage to roofs, shingles, gutters, siding, trim, paint, or landscaping that are already worn, brittle, loose, rotted, or otherwise in poor condition.
  • Damage caused by improper or unapproved modifications requested by the Client (e.g., installing in clearly unsafe or extreme locations against our advice).
  • Damage caused by weather (wind, snow, ice, hail), acts of nature, animals, or third parties after installation.

7. No-Charge Repair Policy (Workmanship Guarantee)

For installations using lights and materials supplied by Neighbors & Lights LLC, we offer a workmanship guarantee for the holiday season:

  • If a section of lights we installed stops working due to installation error or product failure under normal use, we will make reasonable repairs or replacements at no additional charge within a reasonable time.
  • This guarantee does not cover issues caused by Client misuse, alteration, moving decorations, plugging into overloaded circuits, damage by third parties, or extreme weather.
  • For customer-supplied lights and materials, repairs may be subject to additional service charges and we do not guarantee performance.

8. Installer Safety

  • Our installers have the sole discretion to determine if a roof, surface, or location is unsafe.
  • We may refuse or modify any portion of the installation if, in our judgment, it presents an unreasonable risk to safety.
  • We may reschedule work due to weather, including wind, rain, snow, ice, or extreme temperatures.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neighbors & Lights LLC, its Members, employees, and contractors shall not be liable
for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of use, or loss of
enjoyment, arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client to Neighbors & Lights LLC
for the specific project at issue.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Neighbors & Lights LLC and its Members, employees, and contractors from and against
any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of:

  • Your breach of these Terms;
  • Your negligence or misuse of the installed décor or lighting;
  • Your failure to disclose known hazards on the property.

11. Governing Law, Venue & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute shall be resolved in the state courts located in Benton County, Arkansas, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of our website or Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
